About
I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Computing at Queen’s University.
Previously (Septermber 2022 - June 2026), I was a postdoc working/collaborating with labs at Mila – Quebec AI Institute, Yale University and Harvard Medical School (Guy Wolf, Smita Krishnaswamy, Yoshua Bengio, Eugene Belilovsky, The Abudayyeh–Gootenberg Lab).
Research Interests
My research focuses on developing novel machine learning methodologies informed by tools from advanced mathematics, with a focus on applications in biomedical discovery. My current interests include:
- Optimal transport, generative modeling, and deep learning to explore cellular development and trajectory analysis
- Diffusion geometry and manifold learning for high-dimensional and single-cell data
- Graph signal processing and PDEs for molecular structure prediction
- Neural representation learning and brain activity investigation
